Characteristics

TAMOTSU® is an organic oxygen absorbent combining the oxygen-absorbing ingredient of green tea and the strong adsorption of activated carbon. The development of this product was inspired by the oxidizing mechanism of plants, particularly the browning phenomenon induced by oxidation.

Deterioration of foods is closely related to oxygen, which occupies about one fifth of the atmosphere. Foods can be stored for a long time by removing oxygen in the package using an oxygen absorbent. Also, such protection from deterioration simplifies and streamlines the methods of storage and transportation. Major effects: prevention of mold, oil/fat oxidation, discoloration and insect damage.

  • TAMOTSU® does not alert metal detectors.
  • TAMOTSU® is compatible with desiccants in packages for low-moisture products.
  • TAMOTSU® is effective for products requiring long-term storage, as its self-degradation is less than ferrous oxygen absorbents.

The safety of TAMOTSU® has been confirmed by acute toxicity test LD50.

About anaerobic microorganism

There are fermentum and facultative anaerobe that can grow proliferously without oxygen and obligate anaerobe that grow proliferously under non-oxygen condition.TAMOTSU® does not have effective in them.

Caution

Please try testing by manufacturing line before using officially and@confirm the effect.

Do not leave TAMOTSU®in innerbag opened.
Please spread TAMOTSU®you use and seal the package completely.
Do not break innerbag by forklift.If innerbag break,please dispose following below,because it may occur fire.
After soaking in cold water, dispose as gdomestic wasteh or burn in the incinerator.

Do not eat.The risks of direct contact with material and ingestion of it are very low because of being packed into multilayer plastic bag.But if large amounts have been ingested, get medical attention immediately
